OK so after work today I went through my stash of wiring and accessories and finished wiring the radio equipment. The headphones are now run with thin wires and the stacked up radios now share the thicker black cable.

I also made a metal bracket for the headset restImage

I appreciate it Mr Alwyn. I am very pleased that you like it. Tonight I'm painting a base coat of dunkelgelbImage

Mr Micheal C was able to source me a whole set of spare Panzer iv road wheelsImage

After finishing up the radio and headset I spent the evening sanding and applying dunkelgelb on the Nashorn. The cabinets are still removable so I can continue to work on the paint and the lower hull.

I removed the 88 as to get a good overall base of dunkelgelb and reinstalled it. Doing a lot of research online as to what camo design I want to achieve....

I did not attack the lower hull as I wanted to tonight as the sanding and paint took up most of my timeImage But that's OK since I want to make sure everything is done before I move ahead.

Getting to a point where I have to wait for several orders to arrive for this particular piece so I might step away from her tomorrow so I can finish up my Taigen Tiger I and get back to my kv-2. Though this is so nice it's really hard to pull away from itImage

Thank you for looking-Carl

Coming along quickly Carl, you're making great progress. Now that you've got it painted though, some of the printing marks are coming out a bit. It's noticeable on the gun shield when looking from above. If it's too late to repair, it should get covered by the camouflage pattern.

My plan is to pull the gun out again and now that I have a better idea of where the sanding needs to be upgraded I will fill and sand and re prime then the camo schemeImage

Tonight I started to work on the wiring for the Nashorn build. I was able to fit a nice 5w speaker and a 3300mah lipo battery with just enough room for a Clark tk60 board Image

The Clark board measured 9.2cm x 5.3cm and I have approximately 12cm x 5.6cm so close but very happy!

The upper superstructure fits down nicely on the lower hull with everything fitted including a mock up of the Clark board.

Now that's some serious luckImage

Mr Maxmekker...... Where are you..... Lol
