It's real easy. There are two hangers on the rear of each panel. Each hanger gets an O ring, you then just hang them on the hull. I'm on the way out Herman, I'll post a photo later tonight.

Yeah-thanks
Good concept on the skirt retainers, just simple proof you do get what you pay for with that brand

Yes, very simple. Some good ideas with this one from Tamiya. The gunners site moves along with the barrel traverse, and I like the sliding machine gun cover. One thing to note so others will know, there is no machine gun barrel or heat shield supplied with this kit, just the brass piece that holds the LED, for obvious reasons.

Good morning,
You've built this kit into something definitely worth the price. Excellent paint and attention to detail! Following along.

Painless

So here is a photo of the end of the barrel and the flash unit protruding per instructions. They have given me a clear piece for the end of the barrel that they say not to use any surface primer on. 2nd photo. I'm wondering at this point what they had in mind with the clear piece, do they want it left clear so you can see the flash from 360 degrees? Do they have tank battlers in mind? I am going to paint it the same color as the barrel. If I leave it off, then the barrel length will be short. Any thoughts?

It was the same on my leopard 2a6 build - I fixed it during building and then masked up the flash when painting.
