hi Chris,

To you know what these covers are good for?
In the middle they seem to have a hole....
There are also three pins ????

hi gunnar i havent seen those three pins before and as for the covers am not sure ask the lads in general catergary im sure someone will know

Hi Gunnar, I may be wrong, but i'm sure the 3 pins on the fighting compartment roof were the mounting points for a semi-circular anti-aircraft MG rail. Having said this I have yet to see a picture, or even a model of the jagdpanther with an AA mount.

Hi,

I found out the smaller cover is for fuel, the bigger one is for antifreeze (on a Panther A). I hope the JP is the same.
Both had a hidden screw in the middle to unlock the covers. I found no picture about those pins......

my JP is ready for painting. Last thing I made is a hook to keep the rear hatch down....

your jp is looking really good i havent done anything to mine past 2 weeks as im waiting on those 6 small lifting hooks, i bought them off ebay on the 14 june still not delivered have reported him to ebay and paypal as he wont reply to my emails anyway im dying to see what camo your going to use.
