That doesn't look scratchbuilt. That looks like it was an aftermarket part made in one piece. So seamless and perfect. Awesome work!

Could you make one for me, please? :D hehehe

That is very kind of you to write, and I am a big admirer of your work! I actually cheat by spraying Tamiya primer over everything to hide the numerous flaws and make it blend together. I'm happy to write that I've finished the bustle rack (pics soon), and now need to order some jerry cans so I can make their baskets.

One of the distinctive characteristics of the 3rd ID Abrams in OIF was the extra bustle rack applied locally. This was different from those adopted by the Marines. It came together faster than I expected, and I'm pleased with how it changes the look of this beast.

That was quick! Don't forget there are small tie downs on the side of the extra bustle rack for the strap to keep stuff in place. :) IIRC it is found on the side, above, center, one each side.
