Hi all
Once again a busy week at work ..so progress has been slow ...
I started the turret to take a break from working on the hull ...I've used my usual method of construction
making the turret ring and then the Base the the basic turret top with are set just a few mill below th correct height ,..some can create the correct turret details to sit at the right height
there is a lot of complex shapes on the turret ...and as usual no place other than where the comanders
cupola sits is level with the ground ....mad shapes really ...
The turret sides are again made with the help of McDonald's coffee sticks ...and a few big macs along the way !
So ..pics

You got that right Herman...when I was a lad...we used to call it a "Monkey" Tank...because if you looked at it from above...the turret shape reminded us of that of a Monkey

PS..Yeah...the lot of us had strange imaginations back then lol

Hi all
Sorry it's been a little quiet in the m103 build
I got a little side tracked with the tank museum show and did some work on my T29e3 ..so I could take it along to the show
While I've done zero work on the 103 I Ave managed to sort out with Dklm Carson .a gun barrel which he did the CAD drawing's for and has now started to make for me
So I will restart the 103 thus weekend ..and I hope in a week to 10 days have a gun barrel so I need to get a move on
