PS. Maybe just the gunner's hatch ..that handle is totally different ...has a bunch of bends...but it makes opening the hatch much easier

Massive effort mate, there sure is a lot to know about these modern tanks.
Makes it even more impressive when there is no real availability of aftermarket parts too.

I have to hand it to you ATG...that there is some precise cutting...makes me wonder why you didn't go with your original thought of using sandpaper...something like emery cloth or wet ....looks great from here...Perfect PIKACHU scale .....

Thanks Alpha! For some areas, I made use of a template using cardboard and then flipped it on the back side of the anti-slip tape then cut to shape. For some, I just drew directly on the anti-slip backing, with lots of measuring and guess-timates, then cut to shape. Not one of the anti-slip tapes here is of multiple pieces. All are in one piece. For the anti-slip on the blast panels, I did some measuring and drawing on the backside of the anti-slip. The circles I punched out with a punch and hammer. Most of the cutting was with scissors, some with the knife.

I didn't use the sandpaper route because the paper would be too thick and thinning it by removing most of the paper would be difficult and uneven. Anti-slip tape, OTOH, is thinner with the additional benefit of being self-adhesive. I actually have some acrylic paint and a stiff brush to do the anti-slip-by-paint-stippling like I did to my 1/35 Challenger 2 build many years ago, but then I found the anti-slip tape at the hardware so....

I think the turret is ready for a coat of grey primer, but I don't have one right now plus the weather isn't nice for painting (raining here since yesterday).

With that kind of patience...still not understanding why you aren't doing the Grab Handles ...No worries ..No pressure lol

By the way ATC...noticed you did some work to the rear of the hull...removed the gas filler ...did you do the AVU hatch mod that Giant did? I was going to do mine...but couldn't find any clear images of those ...so might just do without...for the same reasons you don't do grab handles
