Kiaser wrote::haha: :haha: :haha: yep agreed only breakdowns happens a lot  this is how silly it is getting  making wooden handles for the tools .
You're not kidding lol....It's the one plus in modeling my tanks the way I do...where everyone "adds" finer details to their tanks...my usual is to remove them :haha:
Think my L70 had the most extensive collection of tools on it ...that really took awhile to make all the brackets as well as some of the tools

So I forgot the gearbox shaft supports to prolong the gearbox destruction 7.99mm on 4:1 black steel box including pro now .
You know Kaiser...a really good tip a fellow modeller gave me was to shop for some nylon bushings at the hardware store
They look like this
Image
take and axle or the entire gearbox assy with you...they have ones that slide perfectly over the axle...you may have to bore out the hull a tad...but they really do the job once installed...the best thing is the cost ...here about .15 cents a piece...I have sixteen tanks...found that tip one of the most affordable ;)

Kiaser wrote:Thanks Alpha that is a clever idea  I did obtain a high end MG 34 .
That's a nice unit...never saw one with optics installed... I usually just fabricate my own using scrap transmitter antennas :haha: :haha:
You going to find a bead to mount that to ...or just drill out the stock ball mount :shifty:

Kiaser Hallo again, Finding a short barrel LED armoured barrel mg 34 is easy BUT ??? Where on earth did you find a "PROPER" long barrelled LED mg34?
I have a couple of long barrel mg34s with LEDs but they are just smooth instead of drilled whereas yours look like the "ABER" photo-etch barrel except with an LED. I don't think I have ever seen such a thing before. shaun
