Stugs seem popular now... the Taigens as well as the HL are sold out all over the place....the Tauch as well...Wasn't a prosperous Black Friday this year...not much going on in the RC tank world Mato is pretty much sold out of everything...on the bright side they do have the PanzerIII metal hull...but I think the Taigen can be had for less ..so nothing gained nothing lost...it'll come around again
Lucky for me I have everything needed for my two Stug builds...even some diamond plate from Ebay... just not the time to get around to them

Good Morning,
A parts search is underway for the Stug. I'm a little closer to deciding which way I want to go. The Pershing is complete for now and I am looking forward to working on the Tiger.

Thank you, Sir. It is one of the original HL Pershings brought up to date with new scratch built and HL and Tamiya parts and a lot of work. Definitely worth it! ;o)

Good luck on the search Painless....It's good when you have a priority list to follow...mine went out the door this past summer...Bought too many tanks...and now just don't know which one to do first...I like doing them one at a time...that way you have an idea of what is necessary ...So it seems the timing is good for you ...since most places are sold out of the Stug for now...by the time you finish your Tiger... there should be plenty to choose from

Good Afternoon!,
I got lucky as Dave from Forgebear says that he will be able to source the correct upper deck from a Pz III 'H' for me with leds and wiring attached. That should be available after Christmas so that's the first major part. I'll have to belly up to the Bar here soon and order the III 'B' resin kit from Asiatam. Then I can concentrate on what kind of lower hull and internals I want for it. ;o) Now to keep this Show Off thread on the road, here's another picture ( or two ) of the B-12

Well, it is a sorry thing to end up a 'Show -Off' thread with photos like this. I am shaking, so mad I can barely hold the camera. Our dog, Waylon, has a bad habit of doing little spiteful things when he doesn't get his way. Tonight, I told him no about begging for food off of our plates. In the past, he has chewed up the furniture in the living room and snapped at Jack but tonight he pulled the coup de grace. He went into the Library and grabbed the Pershing by the muzzle and pulled it onto the floor, smashing the detail work off of it and breaking the turret and airgun. I don't think it is fixable without a new turret, airgun and barrel. That's not even knowing what is busted inside it. I can't bring myself to mess with it. Two months of my life down the drain. Waylon... I didn't whip him. He ran like he always does when he pulls a snit fit. I had Griffy email the Rescue folks. Time for another dog.

Oh shit'ngoddamn mate . I had wondered about the "beef Torpedo" as hadn't heard from him for a while.
That must really hurt.
At least it wasnt the Mrs that grabbed it by the barrel & chewed it off the table.
I wish you well in the repairs and in the quest for a new best friend.

Thanks, Doc. Jack is still here and is the best Dog that could be. The Pershing has a lot of stuff loose and stripped off the mounts including the smoker and wiring. I don't know if the turret is fixable. The detail, sure but the airgun, shell and trunnion\mantlet are trashed with the mounts broken off and the barrel bent. This tank had the best dam***d airgun with the new barrel and mods. Makes me sick. I don't know if Taigen or Asiatam make an IR turret since that barrel was a one-off. Even if they do, I went through all the work with Alpha's barrel to correct the appearance of the turret. Tamiya does but I have no idea how to make it work with this lower and deck. *shakes head*
