HANG ON TO YOUR HELMETS!!!! .... What would you say if you were in a foxhole.. and saw this puppy bearing down on you ?


let me introduce you to what I refer to as the LOLLIE GIRLS TANK...they were the most delicate of all the teams from the OARAI school...
I might add this is not really the tank they used....but I find the idea of building a GRANT tank a little daunting



dubbed the "rabbit" team later in the anime... I still put it on this pink tank...which really had no insignias or marks... just pink


This tank should actually be dead... there was a huge crack in the middle of the turret missing bogies and lights ...the shell was still sound ...and since the upper internals of a Panther didn't work... brought this to life instead




brought ERWIN along... even if this is not her tank

A friend of mine who keeps an eye on new anime... gave me an idea of what's to come in the sequel a few months ago... do you know anything about it Ihardnova?...I wouldn't want to spoil it for you... as I know some of what it's going to be about

Well Alpha, you got some great pieces of armour there, not really tracking the cartoon. My little girl especially likes the pink LOLLIE GIRLS tank. Well done...

Thanks Red Devils...seems the consensus has been daughters like the tanks ...hopefully it will instigate a growth in the world of RC tankery...and perhaps a little competition within the family circle
I can imagine your and Dragon 245 daughters maybe one day saying.. "Dad.... how many times did it shoot you today ?" .... makes for fun times and good memories

All of this has me watching the anime. Very enjoyable, especially the tanks. Drawn and animated to perfection. Thank you, Alpha for introducing a new vision of tanking.

...Good for you PainlessWolf... I'm just glad you liked the anime... it's different from most... did you stream it or purchase the DVD? ... as I know there are many sites where you can watch it
I think the one sequence that got me was the battle between the sisters... MIHO and MAHO... as the TIGER matched speed and maneuverability with the PANZER IV...

also the one that secured the story ... when the rag tag OARAI school went up against PRAVDA and were trapped in that building...where individuals... became a team

After watching it a few times...I know I found many subtleties of information...as mention of history...how to drive a tank.. aim the gun... and data about the tanks themselves were intertwined as the story progressed
finding also... that this story would not have worked if it were groups of boys instead of girls

I agree it was very well done... and for me ... will remain a favorite for a long time
