Looks great! I'm usually not a big fan of the recent crowdfunding concept on Makerworld but I'll gladly make an exception here. The overall effort, the attention to detail ... this model deserves it.

Welcome to the forum, sorry, but usually we only post finished designs here, not WIP or crowdfunding stuff.

Thank you! That means a lot to me.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of the MakerWorld crowdfunding either. Many campaigns break the rules, such as reuploading existing models or failing to disclose AI-generated content. We even ran into an approval issue where they flagged what they thought was a Nazi symbol. Of course, the Wiesel is a Cold War/modern vehicle, so it features the Bundeswehr cross, not that symbol. Getting the campaign approved was far from easy to say the least, so every bit of support is truly appreciated!

I hope this project raises enough funding to fund my future models (Marder 1A3 and Boxer) as well, so those can be free again. Working on the Wiesel for the past five months has been incredibly fun, and I would love to continue with the next project after the TOW.

My apologies. When asked if I could post it on this forum, I got redirected to this post. I just want to ensure this isn’t a scam and that the model is largely finished (most likely end this week the 1A1 be done). MakerWorld makes this sadly the only way to monetize a model. After two months, this “crowdfunding” ends and it will be available as a regular paid model (if it gets enough intrest), similar to how it works on Cults. Because I work with Bambu Lab in my day-to-day job, I’m unfortunately a bit tied to MakerWorld, which is why I had to take this approach. Again, my apologies, and it won’t happen again.

Too bad, I would have liked to pay something, but unfortunately only card payments are accepted and not PayPal.

We sadly just figured this out as well. We’re currently looking into alternative options. BambuLab suggested this when we voiced our complaint, but we are looking into other alternatives: https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/articl ... ne-help669

Quick update!
We’ve reached an agreement with Bambu Lab to make the model available on Cults3D once the crowdfunding campaign ends. We explained to them that our main audience is in Germany, and many people there don’t have a credit card, meaning they wouldn’t be able to purchase the model otherwise. Thanks to this, we’re now allowed to move the listing to Cults3D after the crowdfund concludes. I’ll share the Cults link as soon as it’s live!
