I was intending to travel to Antarctica with the Pope, to research alien technology and create a free energy machine, but hey I can cancel that. The 21st is good for me. :haha:

Back home after a lot of celebration, but another year older. I have returned with a few things that may be relevant -a Tamiya Afrika Corps figure, a SOL PAK 40 kit with crew and the piece de resistance, a Trumpeter 1/16 Jagdtiger kit. Regarding the latter, doe anyone know if it's feasible to RC it?

Sad news, it looks like we won't be able to do the Thornbury Model Show this year. Apparently it has become so popular that they are unlikely to be able to give us battlefield space. We have been offered a static area, but that's not really what we are about. If they can make space available they will let me know, but in the meantime, I am assuming that it will be a no go.

It's no huge loss, although it was always a good day out.
