Thank you for you kind words Richard!

Closest thing I've come to bottling is uncorking a good Bourbon to help sooth the nerves. :D

You are far too kind, it comes from lots and lots of practice and many, many mistakes. I always want to be my own worst critic and strive to push myself to be as accurate as possible. I do not always win and generally have to settle for a compromise between perfection and reality.

Nexusys,

I do not, if the part requires a lot of measured pieces I make drawing of sorts with dimensions. Other wise it will just be another adventure.

Barry
i reckon there will be another Barry the Adventure thing again. You just cant get enough hey Barry. You like the challenge

Continue with details of the Loader's Station. Getting the details in place need to start the added armor plate the surrounds the Loader's Station.

Here are pics of the armored electrical conduit from the hull penetration behind the Loader's Hatch and up the left side to the Grenade Launcher. It terminates at the MCD ( AN/VLQ Missile Countermeasure Device) electrical connector box). It is the box like structure at the end of the conduit inboard of the Grenade Launcher. Only the Marines elected to purchase/use the MCD but the connections was added to most M1A1s that were upgraded to HA or HC configuration.

Thanks Carl,

I am so happy to be working on something beyond the reactive armor tiles!  I really enjoy working on the details and challenging my skills.

Barry my best description of your work is "detail in scale" never seen anything like it.

An art that is in many aspects of our modern world long forgotten.
