Re: MATORRO JAGDTIGER CONVERSION
The bucket story for me is 9 tanks long !
Began with the Jagdpanther & now Im looking to create a tenth design !
One flower for the corresponding tank in the build line, although the T34 has a Kremlin on it rather than a number of flowers, it looks like flowers in that scale
but I count it as a flower bucket in the line
I completed & mounted the helmets on the casemete roof in reach of the commander, I'm a sucker for pea-dot & they turned out ok, although not as good as the one I did on my Zu Fuss Panther.
Toying with the idea of other bits of stowage, but not so much as to overcrowd it.
My StuG makes up for that in spades !

Re: MATORRO JAGDTIGER CONVERSION
Apparently hes a Tamiya Tiger 1 figure.Soeren wrote:Competent looking guy. Which brand is that figure?
I did not paint him though, I'm faaaaar from that skill yet.
He seems to fit the atmosphere of this weapon system...........he wishes to retain a formal command presence, of a massive military asset, that he knew was futile, but afforded him far greater protection than his enemy could bring to bear.
He needed his crew to believe, and function, regardless of perceived odds, and all get out alive.
Cheers for the compliments guys, I really appreciate it

Re: MATORRO JAGDTIGER CONVERSION
Good morning Herman,
I thought this fine fellow was one of the HL Tiger Commanders at first glance. Since he is a Tamiya figure, that explains the resemblance. We all know where HL gets their inspiration from (or used to back when they were starting out) He fits the Build and is an appropriate crowning touch, my Friend.
regards,
Painless

From the tank to its stoic and elegant commander, this has been an inspirational build. A beautiful bit of modeling, Mr. Bix!
