Barry what is most impressive about your work is you have miniaturized the tank in form and function

This is very hard to do and your skill and perseverance are paying off
Tanks alot....

Thanks Carl, for the words of encouragement.

That is exactly what I set out to do, an Abrams in miniature or at least darn close.

Superb innovation on the MG ring Mr C.
I hope it still works as well once its loaded up with the gun hardware !
But, knowing your attention to precise work, I assume you already factored that into the design and final product !!

A long time ago, a joker in here did an abrams & was quite vocal about the sheer number of handles of all types that festoon these tanks.................how's your one for handles ?? 8O

Herman, thanks you!

I am a little concerned about how to finish the gun ring, thinking about using gun bluing fluid. Painting is out as it will add too much to the thickness and when scratched the brass will show through.

There are many, many handles. There are 64 yet to be made and added to the Reactive Tiles. There are numerous other as well.....should be fun :lolno:

Hahaha this made me laugh hard this morning! :haha:

Hey Barry, whats the go with the tank crews. Found the ultimate one yet? Otherwise might get the guys in Shapeways to design.

I have a lot of response regarding XM153. Some of them asking me up to $200 to design. some less. Fortunately i have someone to design it for me for a cheaper price. We'll see how it turns out.

Thanks Wayne!

Just 4X reading glasses and a 6" magnifying glass for the tiny work. I have been build 1/32 aircraft fora number of years and doubling the modeling scale has been a real benefit to being able to see.

Nexusys,

I have Tamiya figures of Japanese, modern German and now the Verlinden figures. I'll end up kit bashing most likely.

Looking forward to seeing what you can conjuring up on the XM-153!
