I need to get mine painted as the all red oxide really doesn't look as good as I though, Yours has to be one of my favorite builds.
Kind regards Andy
Its different for me though, I have monopoly money for currency at the moment, and as the only Torro dealer is in 'Narnia' the postage/shipping is an insult to the injury.
Any build can be cut into 2 fixed cost sectors
- Electronics (option Elmod, clarke etc etc all of which are fixed and consistent)
- Base Tank. Option/version is again your choice, has consistent costs and depending on the version chosen, aftermarket parts are or are not needed.
This was the build that nearly got me out of the hobby in all honesty............not the way I like to build, lack or resources, and reliance on others to pitch in to help.
Once its started to come together though, that changed.
A genuine 'United Nations' build with many parts that I simply would never have had if it were not for the good will of the members in here.
That what got it done, and thats why I owe this one to a lot of folks in here...........
Thanks Mr Jack, i am indeed.jackalope wrote:That turned out amazing Mr.Herman! I'm honored to have played a small part in such a truly stunning masterpiece such as this. You should be most proud sir!
I really appreciate your credit Mr Mekker.maxmekker wrote:that sure came out great , wow. thanks for a great tread and super job on that beast

It was well worth it though Mr B.
Now that you have sat back at looked at it in satisfaction, do you rate it as your best build ?

As much about the diverse contributions as the final outcome.
Explaining the origin of its component parts to folks is as much fun as running it !
