In short- yes.
Its different for me though, I have monopoly money for currency at the moment, and as the only Torro dealer is in 'Narnia' the postage/shipping is an insult to the injury.
Any build can be cut into 2 fixed cost sectors

- Electronics (option Elmod, clarke etc etc all of which are fixed and consistent)
- Base Tank. Option/version is again your choice, has consistent costs and depending on the version chosen, aftermarket parts are or are not needed.

This was the build that nearly got me out of the hobby in all honesty............not the way I like to build, lack or resources, and reliance on others to pitch in to help.
Once its started to come together though, that changed.
A genuine 'United Nations' build with many parts that I simply would never have had if it were not for the good will of the members in here.
That what got it done, and thats why I owe this one to a lot of folks in here...........

It was well worth it though Mr B.
Now that you have sat back at looked at it in satisfaction, do you rate it as your best build ?

Thanks Mr Jack, i am indeed.
As much about the diverse contributions as the final outcome.
Explaining the origin of its component parts to folks is as much fun as running it !

I really appreciate your credit Mr Mekker.
It sure did come a long way from a humble Matoro in the boot of a car !
By no means perfect or 100% accurate, but a fair enough representation of a late war Jagdtiger.

Now thats a tough one....................I rate it equal with my StuG III , and Zu Fuss Panther.
The StuG was the 'funnest' and the Panther the most externally complex, so the Jagdtiger sits in with them for final outcome being almost exactly as I had seen in the old minds eye pictures, and satisfaction to complete against a few odds. !

The collective contributions are what really makes this one unique from the others and i gratefully appreciate those that ;pitched in to add to the build.

The bucket is done & fitted- 9 flowers is getting crowded !
I still need to do the jerry cans but have been busy doing barbed wire for the Pantherturm :/

Been doing the odd bit to this to get it proper complete.
No bucket= no complete !

Also decided to add a couple of helmets with covers on it. A version of pea-dot for those.
Hung the jerry cans on the back end and fitted the bucket with 9 flowers. (Picture not the best on the back sorry)

Its developed a slight issue with the recoil that means I will have make a dreaded re-entry inside it, likely a wire off the constant power supply.

Love the bucket! A tank is not complete without one.

I've thought of using a small bit of milliput to model the usual contents but probably a bit too far! (no jokes about getting too a@@l about things!)

Good morning, Herman,
Sweet job on the final detail bits there. Those helmets look the stuff. Your buckets are always a treat. I've taken to customizing mine for the build at hand. I am looking forward to yours turning into a bouquet since I enjoy your build so much, my Friend.
regards,
Painless

A great achievement by any measure Herman  , and the floral bucket is a masterpiece - I never thought one could pay so much attention to detailing this humble (though obligatory) item! :D
