Thanks Carl and Nexusys,
I am working on the primary bustle which I have to shorten by approx. .125" and getting the side bustle bars fitted.
Also plugging all the unused holes I have created by using the Trumpeter parts as opposed to the HL parts.

OOooooohh............the turret now begins.
Not being familiar with these, I assume you have a virtual library of reference pics that you conjured up that mortal humans can use to plot the way to there own M1 masterpiece !
Im watching Mr C, and short of light hearted interludes, have nothing but admiration to offer

An amateur question...........why is there an absence of visible welds.?
I assume the overlay of ceramic armour and the fact that a welded joint may be a weak spot ?
