Been doing a lot of movies lately with the 1/6 Stuart ("Margret II") - now kitted out with a working Armorpax tow hitch & shiny new M1A1 75 mm pack howitzer to tow around (thanks ebay
) and the 1/8 Tiger ("Sadie") - live firing vids with the 88 mm pyro gun 
Anyhoo - back to my original point (yes, there is one) - concerning the 88 mm pyro gun on my Tiger - which uses a small cardboard casing to hold the explosive charge in, which I naturally assumed just went up in a litte cloud of smoke along with the detonated explosive charge...WRONG...
Cue my Dad on camera, some 15 yrds away from the muzzle, then cue accidental (premature - must be getting to that age) firing on my part, followed by surprised outburst of OAP profanity
from my Dad as the cardboard casing goes whistling over our heads (in camera shot, really did look like an 88 mm shell in flight), only to land some 20 yrds away from the Tiger tank...Have now increased safety zone to some 25 yrds when live firing the 88 mm pyro gun
just pop the turret off (is spring loaded, just push back and lift off) and then feed the pyro wire down the 88 mm barrel and plug the wires into the circuit box mounted in the turret - a 2 minute job when you get used to doing it 
and your good to go
