hi john ,what i ment by blow through effect is if they were sprayed in the field/ factory they wouldnt take them off to spray them so some of the paint would blow through to the inner wheels

Getting a bit more done on the Tiger wheels before going away for a few weeks. Got started on the hubcaps and sprockets. Nothing really secured at the moment but all wheels spin well. I need to secure the bearings to the sprocket axle but got some bearing lock toda

Wooden block place to avoid contact with mantlet during rotation. Would prefer to have it further back. Corners of mantlet rounded slightly as I think they are too square.

I have 94 links each side. I think as more weight is added the tracks will slacken a little. Left track running smoothly. Right maybe in need of very slight adjustment.

Looking Great John, The detail work is excellent especially the copula and the milliput/zimmerite.

They are fantastic but they cost more than my car and I would have nowhere to put it! I went to see Lee Thorpe, he builds them as commisions for Armortek and also has an extensive collection of figures. He drove his Panther out of one of his garages for me to see and in his other garage he has a pantagraph lift to hoist them onto his workbench. If you google Lee Thorpe models he has a link to a friend who has a 1/6 scale WWII marshalling yard in a back garden that is amazing!!
