I think you could be right, that will be worth more than you spent on it few years from now rarity value and your craftmanship. Yep!so what hull skirts then solid would be easier to install and remove for maintenance I suppose as well as providing a good canvas for camo scheme

Re: [ICE]monkeys 1/6 panzer IV
got a bit more of the turret schurzen done , didnt like the white metal hinges so made my own ( ROB STYLE )

these were soldered on then drilled and fitted with countersunk screws for detail

then started to add the door bars

Excellent work there. Real craftmanship. I could do with making hinges like those for my rear mudguards. The kit mudguard I have is wrong for a late Tiger.

Re: [ICE]monkeys 1/6 panzer IV
Shurzen looking great. Are they part of the kit or scratch built. Armortek are releasing a new kit based on the Panzer IV. I am tempted. No money but tempted. If I had one I would like to add the turret shurzen.
I am going to Belgrade next month. Think I will get a close up look at a Panzer IV. If you need anything in particular photographed let me know and I will try.

I will try to get some.
Have you seen Tim Bowman's Panzer IV. I'm following his Tiger 1.
Here is a link to his work on the Panzer IV. Page 8 has some pictures of tool placement.
