Fantastic work as always Andy!

That mount is really impressive, your scratchbuilding skills are excellent. I can't wait to see more!
Cheers,
Rik

Thanks Andy they do indeed help. Might have a go at making a remote machine gun and hatches just to see if they turn out OK. And when Steve gets those hinges in I might, might ! go for it. Have to look at making the travel lock for the gun barrel as well that seems quite easy to do lol. Looks like a trip up the model shop this afternoon. All the best for now mate.

Hi Allen . go for it mate . Ive not gone as far as the travel lock my Stug is ment to be produced May 44 (I think) so It would'nt have the barrel lock , the ridgid towing bar , or the coaxil mg in the mantlet .Ive also put on the bolted plate were the self defence weapon would be . I think they were produced then but not fitted to my one yet as stocks were initial low .But it shouldnt be to hard to make the mg mount or the altered hatches any help you want mate just ask . Heres a thought how about fitting a Stug III top ont a Pz.IV tub acording to my books the originals fitted with minor work . I have an old Pz.IV might try it

Ive started the spare track mounting today . This is removable and has the top mounted hook system fitted . With exception of the nuts not being butterfly nuts (well not at the mo ) . The bars is made from styrene the mounts from small bolts . The top hook arangment is again styrene and a paperclip for the hooks. It will be zimmerited on this back panel later. I have also started the rolled steel type efect on the roof ( Thanks Rik

) .

Ive being working on the tow rope clamps / clips now . Ive seen vereations in these but Ive seen a G model with the fold over clamp design of which Ive attempted . The smaller C clips are styrene but I may change these as I feel they might be to small. The front clamps are made from brass and pined with a paper clip with a dab of solder on the end . I have decided not to add any locking mechanism as its to fidley , well at the mo

. The clamps are bolted to the tank.
Have changed the plastic C clips for the tow cables to copper pipe cut and filled to shape . a liitle stronger than the plastic ones.
