the alu bits came with square holes
the plastic 1's i made are round holes
the reason theres crosses on the plastic 1's are to mark the centres of the squares for drilling

I would love to have Schurzen on my Panzer 4's and Panthers, Jagdpanthers. but on our field I just gave up. Just like in real life it gets shredded battling and even more so re-charging batteries on the work table. I still put it on my Tamiya JPIV/70 because when the huge hooks are exposed they are more likely to get ripped off and the prices of Tamiya sprues if you can even find them are :O :O :O :O

Hi Martin.
It is possible…..
On both my Jagdpanthers I added aluminum Schürzen.
Bend 3mm brass strips in a 90 degree angle and screwed them onto the upper hull with 1.4 mm screws/nuts.
Attached the Schürzen onto the brackets with the same, tiny screws and nuts.
They‘ll hold outdoors!
Rob.

Mentioned this before, concerning the holes in the HL drive sprockets.
Also an El Cheapo solution, available at the service desks from the Ikea Warehouses.
There are shelves where they store small spare parts, you can grab them for free if you need a few.
Mostly these come with the cabinets you buy at the store, meant to fill up the holes in the sidewalls behind the doors.
Just cut them in the length you need and glue them into your drive sprocket with glue xou can easily remove. I always take Pritt.
These won‘t fit the idlers!
