It looks always easy when they‘re done, but it ain‘t!
As I wrote before, for me this camo is pretty difficult.
In the meanwhile I repainted 3 figures because I didn‘t like what I made of them.
Glad when they all are finished.

Nothing about your figures look easy. They look absolutely fantastic. I tried a half hearted attempt on my Taigen commander figure and I should have just left it. for example I really want to get the Torro Sd,kfz 251 for a winter project next year. I think I can do the painting and weathering on the vehicle no problem but without figures it just won't come to life. I envy your skill with them

Well, I think it takes a lot of practicing, a steady hand and patience…..patience and patience again!
Maybe you should try a camo pattern or even a face, on one of them cheapy HL tank commanders, which I think most of us on here do own a few.
But I must admit, these paintjobs, faces or camo patterns stay difficult, even for me and I did a few dozens by now!
And the next few days, a new set of 16 figures will come in.
It‘s a set I already have but that offer on Ali I couldn‘t resist!

As I am focussed on the Eastern Front sceneries, I can ad these guys to any tank I own.

I uploaded all my pics in this thread by my cell phone.
Just now I looked at them at the laptop....
OMG.....damn.....the Tiger guys do not look that good at all.
But fortunately my eyes ain't that good anymore, so from the distances I look at them, they do look fine to me!
It just the enlarging and size these pics get on the pc screen that makes every wrong strike with the brush look like a huge mistake.
But as I metioned somewhere before, my stuff is not exposed in vitrines or whatever showroom, they will run around somewhere outside, and from the distance you look at them outdoors, they're just fine.

I'm sure your Tiger figures in real life look stunning. I find using the phone cameras there is something about them that picks up almost unnatural faults that you cannot see with your eyes in natural light. I have actually started using this to my advantage to look for areas on camo that need a bit more transition blending between colours that show as being harsh on the camera image but you can't really see in most light. I also noticed that with pastels no matter how subtle you applied them and how great they look in natural light to the eyes you will see brush streaking on certain angles with the phone images.
