Thanks mate,I have been looking at some of that camo netting you can put on the tanks,been thinking of getting some white,thought it would look sick,just thinking about visual upgrades??

By the way I was wondering a thought but how long do these steel tracks last before replacement? Just curious really as real tanks need track replacement after a while,are rc tanks the same? I presume the tracks wear wear out.

Hmm... I could guess that the track pins might become loose after some time of outdoor running, but as little as I run my tanks, not in my lifetime.
In fact, I don't know why I keep choosing metal components: I have a Chinese ZTZ99A over a decade old, all plastic, and it's still like new.

Fair enough then lol it was a thought in my head earlier I was wondering about it but I ran the tank alot on the garden earlier and none of the hub covers I glued on yesterday came off so it's worked bang on,the steel ones I will never bother with now,they can stay in the box.

Like anything, moving parts will wear out eventually. It's just a case of how much use and abuse those moving parts receive.
There are track adjusters for such eventualities, and always worth considering along with sprocket drive shaft bearings

I have no idea if mine has the drive shaft bearings? With it being the latest one from henglong I don't know if they fitted it to the tank or not,it's built a little bit different from the old leopard 2 tanks,torsion bar suspension etc.

I don't think they fit those bearings to any off the shelf plastic tanks.

Does the tank need them? Or is it ok without them?
