They arrived today
They fit as well, which is exceptionally good.
Will pose a bit of a test to get them mounted and aligned, but thats a First World problem really.
Huge thanks to Mr Raminator for his trash becoming my treasure
I can get on with it now.

Got a bit done. Mr Raminators gearboxes fitted very snugly but are in.
The plate above them required some thinning in spots to clear the gears but now I have raised sprockets and a flat level transmission cover
I’m not entirely happy with the gearbox retention, might need more bolts but for now at least the project can continue.

I'm sure you'll figure out a good mounting system. What is the "china man's hat next to the main gun?

That’s the crews machine gun.
The earlier ones had one on each side, the driver served one !!
He would have been busier than a one armed bricklayer in Beirut

A mate who is a PzIV tragic had a spare exhaust. He took one look at mine & stated that "that thing is NOT going to stay on this conversion"!!
A slick turned alloy & brass unit with twin smoker intakes & a much nicer profile.
No dents though, the material is not conducive to damaging but thats ok, perhaps this was replaced recently or was fortunate enough not to be reversed into anything.
I just need to put a weld around the outlet and thin the tube a bit.
Still a lot to do before I can begin the concrete application, I'm almost regretting my choice to cover the beautiful Zimmerit this conversion kit provides

That muffler is a treat. Thinning the outlet tubing and your weld bead should make that about perfect. Some weathering and rust will help hide the pristine shape.

Yeah its a really nice accessory.
