I nearly skipped over this build thinking it was just another KT, but I'm glad to have checked in on it Tucker. The neat engineering on the inside is just as cool as the unique finish on the outside. Looking forward to seeing where you take this!

I'm offended on behalf of my generic KT build lol.
But I agree this is a great build. Hopefully will get more pics soon

Thanks! I wasn't so sure where I was taking it when I started. I found it hard to visualize a ww2 tank painted in anything other than earthy colours and camo, so I was starting from a strange place but once over that mental barrier, it started to come together for me.

Figured it would be a good idea to start playing around with the dasmikro soundmodul and learn how to program it. With help from Rad_Schuhart thread on the subject, I was able to program the engine sound, engine on/off switch and volume switch, all successfully! Now I'm a pro

Love the bonnet hood lifting. How did you go about it please?

I used 2 spacer rods from a gearbox, filed a flat side on them and used milliput to to fix them in place. Drilled 2 holes through the side of the chassis that line up with the spacer rod holes and put 2 shoulder screws through to complete the mechanism.

Love the stuff! I've used other epoxy putty like JB Weld but I find Milliput is the best all-rounder.
