Torsion bars are still giving me a headache. yes i know alot of people getting impatient out there, but it has to work. I don't give up.
The half track has had running tests, but nothing really i can share on video just yet
I have also made some further changes and i have also started in anticipation to print the bodies for the first couple.
I haven't given up, its just taking alot longer than i imagined, a learning experience of course. Maybe once i have got it going i can finish my RSO haha

Exactly

Good things come to those who wait :)

Good news is that the suspension arms i have re-designed slightly and they are being machined this week, so hopefully should pick up parts end of week or maybe next week.
The torsion springs are maybe sized a little heavy duty at the moment, but the good news is that they can be changed size wise easy enough.
The chassis testing has gone well.
I am toying with the idea of making the road wheels resin with rubber tyres on them, but the drive sprocket and tensioning wheel more likely to be fdm printed.
In case i didn't mention it prior the drive sprocket will come in seperate parts, but the gear itself can be purchased at extra cost if required and will be CNC out of sheet plate.

The front hubs have been re-designed and the clamshell also changed. The reason for that is because i want the same chassis to be used on this Ausf C model and other model variants. So an Ausf D will come after. Potentially gives the owner the choice of buying 1 chassis and different body sets if they want to change the model without having to buy a complete new model.

Oh that is clever, Will! Take you time. Do not finish the Ausführung C before you build and I pay your for the FLAK 88. I may not have a SWMBO :( , but I do have both a limited income :'( and unlimited lust for your great creations!

Good news, the torsion bar adaptors have been picked up from the machine shop.
However i have some Flak 36 88mm to build first.
So fingers crossed i can get it all done this week and give an update asap.

Update
Printing a new chassis section, although this is only because i want to trial the modified parts, however the tests have gone well
Looks like we just about to start printing the parts for stock! Yippppeee
There are 1 or 2 people who have already shared deposits with us to build them the first models, so i will share those updates as we progress. Alot more parts now are going to be resin to keep up the details.
A few other changes along the way to improve workings
If anyone is looking for one, please confirm to Catherine (WCP Models) and she can add you or reconfirm you on our list.
Some people may have changed their minds, there are also maybe others wanting on the list, so please let us know

We are also going to do some large bulk orders for parts like bearings and motors so deposits will be required. An exciting lead upto Christmas

Catherine will be making a new post to cover the 251
Ready finally, lots were sorted out and we have suppliers on hand waiting to take our orders as some parts are made custom for our design like the suspension components for the road wheels etc
It took alot of work, a fair bit of testing and puling my hair out, i hate to think what this model has cost me in time and finances, it might have been cheaper to buy a 2nd hand Armortek!

I have also started another set of half tracks and still finishing off some of my older models which were requested a LOOOOONNNNNG time ago. I am going to have to try and relax next year and slow down a wee bit.

4 out of 10 chassis are printed. Once we have 10 printed there will be some progress pictures.
