Re: Olive Drab Paint
You can use vallejo model colour to airbrush Jeremy you just need to thin it to the correct consistency to get the best results, vallejo also do the model air range which covers many of the same colours as the model range. The model air is supposed to be able to spray straight from the airbrush without thinning but you can always tweak it to your preference. Another option is the mig ammo range, I find that these airbrush well with good results also

Re: Olive Drab Paint
That would be more than enough using an airbrush Jeremy
just thin it so it sprays nicely and build it up with a few coats, don't try and spray it all in one coat you will not get a decent finish

Thanks Lee,
Now I have to try to set up a area in my basement to keep spray and dust to a minimum.

Re: Olive Drab Paint
An item at little or no cost that I recommend you acquire is a u/s fridge,
The fridge is excellent for storing paint in it's various containers as well as your airbrush and depending on it's size the compressor and brushes and thinners,
A small Fridge will be ideal in hight and diameter to stand your Tank or parts of on top as you spray,
If it is a walk in fridge then it can become the spray booth,

Re: Olive Drab Paint
I gave one away no more then a month ago too,lol
I think I have a little area I can use down here. I can hang a temporary plastic drop cloth in front of a window and box it in as to keep dust down. Its in the unfinished part in the laundry room. Not ideal but can bring in fresh air and the lighting is pretty good
