Wow Herman! That's a lot of work real fast!

No groundbreaking progress, more a tidy up and funtion check.
Dominique's gearboxes are fitted, secured with M3 dome head cap bolts in stainless, smoker is secured with thick double sided tape, battery is secured with velcro screwed to the deck that covers the torsion bars.
All I need now is the correct sound module from Mr F. Orgebear Esq. to get the basics right.
Once that arrives I can mount the on/off switch, and place the volume control on a solid mounting.
A few cables to tidy up with proper conduit holders & the lower interior is done.
At least now I have a running chassis to build from !
I test fitted the tracks & they both needed a link added to get the right look.

Thanks mate, yeah, a bit happier now I’ve got actual progress.
The poor old suspension seems to be a bit baggy on the rear, so jury is out on a full strip down & rejig of the set up.
The barrel arrangement will be heavy, and surely will add to the leverage over the front, so I won’t panic yet .

Yes, the older KV Lower hulls are prone to the sag at the rear. I rebuilt the torsion bars with Alpha's help way back during the 'Palace' original build. The new Lower from Taigen that I replaced the original with doesn't have the sag so I think that they wised up at the factory and put some stronger bars in the new lowers. Like you said, that 152 at the front and associated mantlet will have a great leveling effect on the whole vehicle. I can't wait to see the old Grrl' done.

I love it when folks show photos of the interior electronics layout. Looks great and all that hull detail craftsmanship is sure to result in a Blue Ribbon model. I look forward to seeing it painted and weathered.

This is coming together nicely. Is that the subtle texture paint on the hull already?
