That colour tone and shade is absolutely perfect, you should be very proud of what you have done.
Now that sound ! . I was considering installing a Clarke board for my Tiger 1 but that Elmod is beautiful , thanks for sharing Mr Daz.

Thank you very much!!!!! The Elmod is amazing!!!! I bought another board for my strumtiger. There are multiple sound files too that come with it. You can choose which ones you like or add different ones from different files too. And thanks again for the compliment on the paint job! I found a good pic of the actual tank and I still have some work to do like the front track holder. Here’s the pic I found today while looking for reference photos

Ok so I didn’t have the correct scale decals but I found some on eBay!!!! I did make the stripe

pattern a little more visible so until I get the last of my parts in and the decals this build will go back on the shelf lol. Now I get to start the Sturmtiger!!!!!!!

So after seeing the front track holder on the photo of Tiger 312 I decided to scratch build the part. I found some thick zip ties that looked spot on so after some bending and painting and glueing here’s the final result

Nice scratch build, I love my track holder on my tiger build, cannot for the life of me remember where I got it from, but its a solid metal piece.

Careful boys, it's a rectangular bar isn't it?

I looked everywhere and couldn’t find one. Zippy ties did the trick lol

Haha, it's what you often find. There must be thousands of bits out there made to do one job that end up on a scale model doing something completely different, and it's really satisfying when you find something! Small medical moldings are often worth keeping...syringe covers make very good antenna mounts. The winching units on my tank transporter trailers are all redundant WPL gearbox covers. The rear drive hubs on my IS-3 are made from recovered Lyons lolly pop sticks. Or did l just dream that. Hmm
