Re: 1/6 scale Universal Carrier suspension and road wheels
So now the designs are complete and tested they are available for purchase. Anyone interested in printing the designs can paypal me £30 to alwynft@aol.com and send me their e-mail address, and I will send them a set of stls for the wheels, suspension, and sprocket. Anyone wanting a complete set of components printed, it will cost £300 as these parts are big and print time runs to 2 weeks and uses a LOT of filament.
Please either contact me before 19th March or wait until after the second week of July as I will be on holiday and unable to deal with stl or print requests.
Thanks everyone for the interest in the project

Thanks for making them available

Re: 1/6 scale Universal Carrier suspension and road wheels
I just received a set of HL Panther tracks from Ad Lav - many many thanks, and here is what the Bren carrier chassis looks like

Absolutely to scale and looking brilliant!
Again many thanks to those who have contributed to the build, particularly Son of agun-ner who contribution some essentila transmission bits, and thanks for the support and suggestions.

Nice to see it with the tracks on!
Have you sourced a bren gun?

No, it's early days yet and I can get them from China for £17. One option is to get the Dragon Bren Gunner but at £85 that's a bit rich for my budget. I do have a driver thanks to George who donated one at the last Scout Hut meet.

I can recommend this from TYTOYS:

You can see the rounds in the magazine, open the breach and fit the mag, and you can even draw back the bolt to almost simulate cocking the mechanism!
All for £15!!!
Pity they don't manufacture a Lee Enfield!

If you’re searching eBay for one of these, it’s ZY TOYSMarkylee wrote:I can recommend this from TYTOYS:
