Pinewood is actually not expensive; the high price is due to the work done. If you know a carpenter, then let him cut square moldings to size. Remnants of pinewood can be found in any joinery. And if you're lucky, you'll get them as a gift - then it wouldn't matter how many you need.Rattlesnake road wrote:Visited the local merchant to get an idea on prices of square timber, 12x12x2400mm is £2 per length.
