Re: 1:16 Blue Star Models/ An-Bri Hetzer Build
After a two week stint in the field, a welcome weekend off.

I ordered a beautiful set of Mato metal Panzer iv tracks from Toucan Hobby on eBay and they arrived to my house in one week from China!
So I spent the majority of the day machining the road wheels, sprockets and idlers to make sure the running gear was true and free moving. Many grinding wheels, cutoff wheels and time so I've fitted and tested the suspension and tracks and all is now moving as planned.
Many parts and accessories are on order from Mk modellbau. Including a fantastic metal turned barrel with threaded end
I have a full wish list of parts needed for the blue star kit from Ludwig's including gearboxes sprockets and tracks.
So here is the An bri hetzer as it sits....

More details added. Designed the exhaust so that the upper pipe from the engine deck slides into the hub and allows the upper hull superstructure to slide onto the lower and stay in place.
Drilled the upper and lower hulls in many spots to allow for the metal bolts to be added. Much more to do, but I finally feel like progress is being made.
Many more details to add to the lower but I may focus my time on the upper hull gun assembly.

Mark I'm glad I could make this into something you like, when I first purchased the kit I was a bit overwhelmed but it's all going to turn out really nice IMHO. Thank youMarkocaster wrote:Looks awesome!
