Hi,
For my Nashorn build, the closest thing I found for the radio arrangement was in the AFV Club 34196 photo etched set instructions, snapshots below.

And this from Youtube video of 131. I don't think that the top left unit is mean to be protruding from the frame, going by the scrape marks.

I used to have the greatest admiration for those expert in working in and producing things from various small pieces of brass. Having spent heaven knows how long trying to make a frame for mounting my radio equipment, I have changed my mind. I am now convinced that these people are secret members of the dark society of magicians and necromancers. :D

It is still work in progress so far as I am concerned. I hope that eventually, I can produce something. Fortunately the final result will be tucked away at the rear of the vehicle.

I've just taken delivery of this book

I have not had time to read it yet, but it has a lot of photos and line drawings and, I think, would be useful to anyone contemplating building one. It is a Polish publication, but the text is in both Polish and English. I got mine from Amazon.

After burning my fingers countless times and uttering quite a few words of between 3 and 5 letters, I am declaring my radio rack finished. It is my take and bears no visual similarity to the ones actually fitted. I won't other to list all my mistakes other than one main one. The brass sheet that I bought to make the top cover was way too thick at 0.5mm. I could not get a clean sharp bend but it will have to do. So with increased admiration for those to whom brass work is second nature, I humbly present my Nashorn radio rack. Hopefully, once the radios are installed, it won't look too bad.

Looks great Richard, and vastly better than I would have achieved, my efforts at soldering brass always end in burnt fingers and masses of solder over eveything without achieving decent joints. Well done

Yeah, you've done really well there Richard. It certainly looks the part, and the way the metal takes the paint gives the weathering real depth. Get those resin radios in there and the whole assembly will look right at home nestled in with all the other details and accoutrements.

It's good to see you going the extra mile on this build, is this the same chap who said "I'll just have the one tank" all those months ago? :haha:
