I don't think I'll be able to do that, but I can get close. Maybe if I do them like Lee did, use the hub from the truck and put it through the firetruck rims. I'll have to give it some thought, but I'll come up with something. Have you thought about printing wheels? The tires from the Highway 61 trucks come off the rims and they're molded pretty much like a real tire. Should I post a photo?

And that drawing is very helpful for bumper height, too.

Hi Gary, hopefully Alwyn will share the .stl files for the wheels he has designed for the Lego tyres, if so I’ll print you a set off & send them over

Hi guys, yes as soon as I get some working rims I'll post the scad files and I can e-mail the scads and stls, no probs. I think one problem with trying to get the wheels to line up is that the rear wheel will interfere with the suspension, and although the front wheel can be moved out a small amount, move it too much and the steering won't function correctly. Once you get the scad files though you can tinker with the design a bit. You can download openscad free and it's pretty easy to use.

Nice one Alwyn, you’re a star

I’ve just ordered a few of those Lego tyres, they look to be a perfect size

Here you go Gary, all done, looks like the back of the chassis will have to be extended a bit as there's a spare wheel to go between the back of the cab & the fuel tank.
I'll try & get it boxed up & posted tomorrow
