The question I ask myself is, if you can do it in a few weeks, then why can't Heng Long do it in 12 months??

Hi Rob your spot on but not only Heng Long ,Tamiya have been selling the same kit (Sherman) since the early 70s most of the moldings are the same, but they have never tried to change it to one more modelers would buy(apart from a poor attempt at a so called super Sherman)
guys with nothing more than hand tools have been changing the Tamiya to other types even fitting recoil units in the turret, which seems to be way to much for the engineers at Tamiya.
The skill of the guys on this forum (and others) never stops amazing me ,how they can take a model and change it to another using only plastic card and hand tools, its what keeps me interested in the hobby.
regards pete

Lol...afraid not...the new owner didn't want a pin-up, just a name...we went for "Gunslinger" as she's quick on the draw...
