Ok, Tom. Where did you buy the hex brass bolts, that liberally populate the rear of the Cromwell, and what size are they. I've got to have them :)
I see you've got the Normandy cowl on the right way round now. Hopefully, my second package of bits..to supplement the basic one I have already..will be winging its way from Germany soon. It will include the brass rivets
I like so much (they make the Cromwell look part- Dalek), and the exhaust cowling. I found a strip of brass lately (10mm wide by 40mm) that I plan to fashion into the lifting eyes you've lately shown on your turret.
I'll be starting my thread proper soon, but not until I've got all the bolts, glues, styrene reinforcers and other bits I need to really make a go of it. I already have the basic turret and upper deck done.
Roy.

Not to let wibbly and 43rr have all the British tank fun, I've got the electrics sorted and a wonderful sound package from Mr Sollie.

I'll let the video do the talking!

Hi Tom, I've spent a lot of time lately messing around with different speaker designs and speakers, I'm yet to build one that sounds as good as the Tamiya speaker you have in there..they really do sound great don't they! nice detail with clamps, looking forward to seeing this one painted.

Cheers guys! Jake you are right, I love the tamiya speakers. My favourites the js-2 compact and powerful. I've got one of Ian's to try out for it.

Some great ideas in there,Tom. I'll be adapting a few, particularly the positioning of the on/off switch etc. Quite how the turret holds all that gadgetry I don't know :O It's all bit Tardis like :D
I only have access from the front part of the Turret roof, and so stuffing recoil hardware in there will require something from the black arts, I think :lolno: :lolno:
