The recoil unit from Chris looks very interesting. Any way to give it traverse?

It has traverse. It is meant to be driven with 3 mini Servos for traverse up/down and recoil.

That's really cool. You've given me something new to investigate. Do you happen to know if he has a unit like this for airsoft?

I guess not. That is basically a frame with the two Pivot boints...

But looking at that assembly. Youtr might be able to either use parts of the kit. Or build your own.

Gosh, those models where you freely Change as you like without premade parts for that particular kit seem to take forever.

Today I tried to fit the gun. Realized that filling the cut area in the collar was too much, so had to regrind it. After that i spent time adding several layers of Vallejo Putty to smooth the ground area. Now I can get enough Depression. Also redrilled the spare track hangers and made the wholes for the retaining chains. Same on the Panther G hull... Enough for today.

Can you please tell me more about your track hangers and show some photos? Did you buy them or make them?

There is also a late German clasps and clamps set, that I started Building for the tolls on both. Pictures Show the spare track hangers. Above is the Schumo set, below the ABER set. My opinion? I would think, that the ABER is worth the money, you get a lot of extras for not much of more paying - 55€ basic Panther set and 30€ the Schumo hangers. The Schumos have mor prominet weldlines, but I am not impressed with the hooks for securing the links, they dont fit into the holes, so I have to widen the latter.
See above , Pictures included. I guess the ABER count close to "I made them"? As each Piece is made up from 3 parts, two bend and soldered strips for the hangers themselves and 1 Piece of .8mm rod soldered at the back to stick them into the hull. Beware, the SHUMO ones are quite brittle and you have to redrill the holes and sand the Pins a lot to get into the premade holes.

Don't know how I missed that photo before, but thank you. I'll probably try to make my own.

I wonder why I ignored this part completely until now. I was so tired after work today, and managed nothing more than to make this spade. ACE OF SPADES I am today ;)

Might as well try to make another set of Tools for the JP. Starter crank shouldnt be too hard from 2mm wire. Hammer mybe form Apoxie Sculpt? Maybe axe as well? Or solder from 1mm brass Sheets? Cocktail sticks for the handles?
