I figured for the price it was justified for the electrical bits alone. This way I'll take it apart step by step and sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words plus I'll have another Tiger to turn into something once I have time

I'd be really grateful to see that. I'm a bit hesitant about changing the wires on the 8 pin socket

Good call. I just got my paypal invoice from HAYA UK for the necessary hardware.
I am going to suggest that he makes up 'kits' of all necessary bits to make the transfusion of the new radios into older tanks & sell a boatload of them.
I know its the 8-pin plug socket and the corresponding cable thats necessary to overcome this issue with no re-jigging of wires.
Great for electro-numpties like me.

For me it's probably easier to set up a Clark board but I am determined to finally figure this damned Heng Long board wiring out even if it makes me a bit nuts along the way.... I like your idea Mr. Herman in kit form it would sell like hot cakes and it would be in my opinion more appealing to a novice looking for an upgrade or someone in our hobby who want to upgrade an older tank to the latest electrical system

OK guys my $79.00 new Heng Long Tiger I arrived today to be dissected and examined. I took slot of pictures. It does have the latest 2 sound radio. Looks like s new style speaker?

I'll be glad to answer any questions about where things may and may not go. I'm no expert but I figured this was the cheapest and easiest way to help each other figure this out
