Once upon a time in a galaxy quite close to here and before I discovered 3d printing I started building a 1/10 scale quad/limber/gun, and now I have cleared my shelves of some of my shelf queens I decided to progress this. I got the quad running and thanks to some assistance from Rob (wibblywobbly) started on the 25 pounder.





I will try and update the images that CRAP photobucket have blurred so the history will reappear.

Some progress on the gun shield and mounting

Looks great Alwyn, the rivets on the frame are giving me flashbacks to my 1/16 version I've still only put about half of them on that's needed you've done a great job on yours though

Made some progress despite my printer playing up with a clogged nozzle

Designed the gunsight and gunslew mechanism




Also designed and printed a new tyre because the lego ones were just naff. The only down side is the tyre print time is 9 hours and I've 3 more to print!

Gun has turned out into a thing of beauty. Nice looking wheels, they look a lot better than the stock lego ones.
