I take it the spare tracks arrived ? Very nice paint job buddy. love it. Mine is running pretty smooth, but the bearing in the final drive transfer case is brilliant. Also, what did you use for the cupola vision ports ? Are there painted on or reflective sheets ?

Thanks Michael,
The track arrived safely, and it was apart with in minutes of it's arrival.

The glass ports are painted with a sky blue, then modeled a bit with some black and brown acrylic washes. Then I took a brush with automotive grade urethane and brushed it over the areas of the glass. Gives it a nice surface contrast against the matte finish on the rest of tank.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the bearing comes from an inline roller skate. Fits perfectly with no slop at all. I can not remember how I stumbled across this bearing and how perfectly it fits. I do this to all of my tanks and it really helps support the drive.

Tonight I finished up the LEDs in the headlight and taillight assemblies. I also ordered some of these lasers for target acquisition.

These are only 6mm in diameter. Should be able to mount them in the mantle and try to sight it in with in reason. Hoping to run the sighting system off the aux power on the Clark board.

pale, I did that on my ZTZ using the same ones, make sure you put a resistor on them, as the AUX power on the Clark is full 5.0v + as it is not a LED power like the headlight and the MG. I learn this the hard way.

What it needs is some teeth on the hull front

Resisiter on power side? Thanks for the heads up.

Either way it doesn't matter. As long as it is on the circuit path. If you don't the laser will loose focus after a minute or so from over power.
