:haha: Indeed. Depth of Field= Depth of Nosiness. Now that tank has me wondering whether it is possible to produce one that can deliver shots of malt whiskey to the needy; much in the way the St Bernard was rumoured to deliver brandy to stranded climbers.
Of course brandy is a serious no-no for cold conditions, as it can hasten hypothermia...albeit ofter some welcome euphoria; but just imagine an RC tank going along the trenches, dispensing much needed amber anaesthetic/ dutch courage to the troops about to go over the top....or even taking pain killers to those stranded in no-man's-land? If robots can be used to defuse bombs, why not for delivering amber nectar? :haha: :haha:

:D Why mine for gold in the Rockies, when you can do it in Youtube, eh, Alpha?!! :haha: Amazing as usual. As for Canned heat's bottled genie.. the spirit of uisge beatha, I'd say a 25 year old Glen Grant, or, an affordable 15 year old Glenmorangie would brighten any room or situation.. even if they emptied your wallet :D

From the Bizarre to the sublimely bizarre.. :haha: Instead of the ketchup, I had in mind the first wave of WW1 troops, awaiting zero hour, (and the pant-filling command to go over the top) receiving their rum-ration this way..from this cheery little tracked dispenser :D
Troops did receive a tot, in fact, but that was the only act of consideration from the general staff. :'( When my uncle was killed at Arras, in 1917, they even docked five shillings from his pay for the army blanket he was buried in! These days, at least the bodybag is (probably) free... In future, Amazon will...with its quadcopter fleet.. be able to deliver your much needed 'I'm-about-to-get-my-head-blown-off' libation direct to the jumping off point, or forward observation point. Now there's progress for you!! :haha:

Er...no :haha: , but I appreciate the message, and the messenger :D I'd heard about the quadcopter option, and dismissed it as a leftover special effects from 'Blade Runner'. Possible scenario: the Amazon 'copter is hovering 400 ft over your yard, where you're in full recline mode, sipping something special. The 'copter is delivering the new 4lb club hammer you've ordered, for a spot of creative stonework, when- instead of going into descend mode- the (bomb) delivery doors open, and the 'copter releases your latest acquisition...... :O
I can only imagine a 'Fifth Element' sort of crowded sky situation, if Amazon gets the go ahead...and outtakes of Rc quadcopter collisions; or even enterprising thieves using 1/16 scale surface-to-air missiles, to get their hands on the consumerist's goods..

Hmmm, shooting down Amazon drones. That sounds like fun! Now what did I do with that AA Walker bulldog?

But where shooting down drones with a modified rc tracked vehicle would be an interesting challenge, finding where Alpha keeps his digital treasury of oddball videos  would be greater one :haha: I looked on the rcexplorer.se website, for example, expecting a trail of of go-pro antics, and only encountered tri-copter scenes of Norway...all very aesthetically pleasing, but not exactly whoop-it-up jests and surreal japes. The plot thickens: where is the wellspring of the mysterious Brigadier's seemingly endless video treats? :eh: ?...certainly off the beaten track (*or tracks, for tankers..
