Really depends on what kind of paint you are using ED...oil or petroleum based paints...let them dry till cured pretty well...about two days...you should be able to wash right over without a clearcoat....if acrylic....you have to be real fast....plan your ideas of what and where you want to wash.....shoot one coat of clear...not too heavy...let that dry ....do not make a hard shell with the clear....a misty rough surface is what you will want...just enough to protect the acrylics below it...then quickly hit it with the wash....do not back track on the stroke...go layer by layer allowing each to dry ...when you get the result you want...clear coat thatedpanzer wrote:Anyone have any ideas on mixing a wash?
