Note: The color chart below is the paints called out in the assembly manual of the model kit. Duplicate colors shown are in reference to Tamiya bottle paints as available in two sizes; 10ml and 23ml. Choose the bottle volume that best meets your needs. All spray can paints (AS, TS and PS) are available in 100ml.

That is way too much paint to start off with ...took the liberty of putting blue Xs next to the colors I would get...the rest can be mixed....add to the list
White...Black and Red preferably flat and you should be set to go
This is your basic color wheel

What isn't shown are the Neutral colors...that being White and Black
Your PRIMARY Colors are Red...Yellow...and Blue as you can see on the color wheel...you can mix the primary colors to make Secondary colors...that being orange (red and yellow)....Green (Yellow and blue)...and Purple (blue and red)...adding more or less of one gives you your tertiary colors...IE: redish orange...light orange etc...
The Neutral colors will tone the paint.....in extreme instances...red and black will make brown.. mixing black and white will give you grey...add a primary color and you get a tone of grey...Silver and black makes gun metal....and on and on....knowing how to use the basic three Primary colors along with the two Neutral colors will open doors for you toshik ...sure some experimentation will be needed to get the proper tone...but really ...you don't need all those paints

PS. Greens and Oranges are Hard to tint when mixing using primary colors...sometimes the pigments don't bind well and will turn into a muddy color.. Flesh tone is also hard to mix...better and easier to just buy it

I guess I can't recall any other subject or non-subject forum with such friendly and helpful members! Back to the subject I think it would be crazy starting my painting career with Tamiya Are Tamiya paints the best choice?

They're easy to work with...but there are varied opinions on the board lol...Nowdays I can't get them ...but I've found a good substitute...the main thing is whatever paint you use...it's friendly with the human touch...old oil type paints like testors...the flats would rub off after a few grabs...even worse if your hands are a little greasy

Sp are we now expecting to see you with a Tamiya Tiger Toshik ? ..We cut your paint cost quite a bit

Only if you use an airbrush. Tamiya paint is no good for paint brushes. It needs to be thinned and use a retarder to get it to spread properly and not dry to quickly. The Mig Ammo, Vallejo and AK range are far superior brush paints.

If you get high quality oils, once dry you'd need to soak them in linseed oil for days for them to come off.

Word of advise Toshik....always add in the shipping cost...parts and bits are cool from the UK...but a whole tank will take your arm and a leg
