Hi Paul,

How is it coming on? I've had a bit of a disaster with mine. One of the walking beams - the prototype that I took a risk in using - has proved not up to the task and crumbled. My fault for trying to pull my 1/8 Panther on its trolley. The other beam, properly moulded in grp seems fine.

Thinking of stripping it completely and rebuilding it as the short chassis version, but how the hell did Scammell get the winch, diff and rest of the transmission in such a small space?

Looks really good Paul. It looks like you've sorted out the trailer winch too.

Any chance of some close ups of the winch on the trailer?

I love your work, I have no idea how to even begin a build like that!

Hi Paul,

How is it coming on?

Mine has come to a dead stop for the moment. The disaster has been un-broken, but I've decided to go for the big one - 1/6 scale!
If any use to you, I managed to get full access to the HRV at Muckleburgh and took quite a number of pics (all detail shots). Some will be no use to you because you are building a different version, but if you are going to super detail it then stuff like the cab interior etc might be handy. I could stick them on a cd if you wish.

Did you by any chance scale it up from an Airfix model?

Cheers
