Another option is feed the heater element and fan seperately. Element from the the battery via a switch, and the fan from the IBU2 proportional output.

Thanks to The Tank Man for sharing his video

Kiaser wrote:Wow that is really good to see the different models and configurations so we have Taigen and H/L the tiger 1 , Sherman , panzer III and a king tiger would be good guys ???

Purhapes some Russian tanks with TARR smokers and there setup gentlemen ?

Including other boards , Tk22 setups or any board with TARR smokers would be appreciated :D
This is a team effort and everyone's input is important .
Kiaser, here is my Taigen metal lower T34 hull, with Clark board and a hard case lipo 5000 mAh 2S battery sitting on its side and TARR Mk I sitting between the gearset, but attached to the upper since that's where the exhaust is for most of the Russian tanks. Both KVs and T34s has to have their smoker mounted to the upper hull.

Here is the video of the smoker in action with a 11.4v 3S dedicated lipo with the set-up and Mega Steam. Might have posted this before but here it is:

UPDATE: Thanks for all the great advice. I have a Tenergy charger now (2) Turnigy 5000mah 25-50c 2s batts coming, a lipo bag, (2) lipo alarm/voltage, a bag of 4mm bullet connectors. I perused the IBU2 board and am very impressed. To get it here total cost is about $200(lower Alabama) my brain sez:: that could be another TANK!! so I need to fall back and calm down before I spend way to much dinero! I still would like to figure a way to belch out a lot of smoke at start up. Wiring Tarr to battery side would make smoke. Separating fan to still run on control board will work but there's a delay before fan kicks in. Can I incorporate the factory smoker wiring some how? Any ideas?

O'Neal, my $300 King Tiger is a $1000+ tank now, don't feel bad just get used to it.

My current Tiger is at about $900 and it's still in primer and pieces! :haha:

Jack, it frightens me when I think how much I have spent on my Tanks  BUT I have, as does you and everyone on this Forum who has built a Tank something unique, there is not a Tank anywhere in the World exactly like any of mine or yours, of course it is doubtful that in truth they are worth $900/$1000 but to you and I and the rest of our friends on the Forum they are priceless  shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Jackalope I definitely don't feel bad about any of these great mods... just making a comparison ...IBU2 board vs another tank! I would love to have another tank! That's why I have to pull my reins in... I'll end up buying both! Oh yea, weighed the Tiger on my postal meter came in at 14.9 lbs without the battery.. USPS must have used some very heavy cardboard!
Kaiser, if you're wired to the battery for one smoker why do you use a step up reg...is it because there will be to many volts?
Thanks guys,
O'Neal
