A local broad member and fellow tanker just started a Grant build using Woz's turret and a upper hull from Hungary.

Not seen the upper hull yet but I'm affraid that we will all be redundant when the Lee comes out next year. (If it comes out)

Its on eBay and looks quite nice. I have not had a chance to see this in person yet but will on our next tank meet I am sure:

Do you know that guy that makes those Kits Michael? they don't look quite right...the L70's dimensions on the nose is way off...the Hull for the Grant looks ok...the rest...............I think Woz's is a way better effort

ALPHA, I don't know the dude and I haven't seen the kit in person yet but will be shortly. The L70 is definitely off but if I were to do this I would replace it with something metal and proper anyway. The Grant in the link uses the same hull, but with Woz's turret I believe.

Besides the L70, I would probably do a proper Lee turret with the MG cupola also, but obviously the preference would be to get Woz's Grant turret which looks great......

Kit front end looks pretty much identical to your one alpha

I have to take a look at Woz's cupola turret again...his looked a little smoother..but my brain is tired from working on 1/35th stuff...so the picture may be out of focus (in my mind that is )
Thought the kit was rather pricey...doesn't include the bogie or suspension too

NOPE...on the L70 it's way off...extends too far forward ...BUY IT TOM...prove me wrong

Funny I have the 1/16 kit and the tamiya 1:35 and the differences scaled is 5mm....which isn't really anything.

tom, do tell...... Didn't know you have the kit. How is the turret looking ? I thought it look a little small. The L70 looks off in the picture and I would have thought it would be more than 5mm. Did you end up using it or will be using something else ? Did you have to switch to a low profile gearbox for the transmission cover to fit ?
