Thank you very much Alpha; stay curious...

Personally I think you deserve a lot of credit hotte .... you don't see this kind of build here often..and this is really something...there have been others mind you...but basically a lot of plasticard...nothing like this ...this could go into an Architectural Journal or something like that ...don't kid yourself Hotte it's a really outstanding job you are doing

My last report ends by stating that my first brick surfaces were grouted too clean, like exposed brickwork.
But before I modify that masonry, it goes on further with filling timberings with bricks; just around the corner at the gable side.
Laborious grow the walls steadily; particularly in the oblique surfaces there are many bricks to cut.
Before I try to modify the too clean grouted walls, I will complete all the walls once so far, how I had it imagined.

Now to change the fugues image; a mason would as I said other than making sure that the fugues are well filled, existing holes are closed and remove the protruding mortar with a trowel. So would mortar remain at the bricks; that I will now try to do.
For that has been coated once again all surfaces with mortar and let dry slightly.
After that with a narrow metal spatula (my mason trowel) the surfaces upward deduct. Take care that the outer edges of the bars are free of mortar.
And here are the corresponding images...
With the other walls it goes on next time.

And it goes on with the masonry, now at the other corner of the gable side.
Described is now everything, that's why now only a few photos from growth the walls.

500 individual bricks were it once, now is down to a few quarters pieces hardly anything left, the remaining few pieces I need for the work place of the mason at the chimney (more on that later).
This pathetic remainder of bricks is on the walls in the lower floor still installed, and finally grouted.
At the backside of the house I have then though bricked all timberings - also above right, looks more realistic.
With the base plate it goes on at next time...

I know, I've promised the base plate...
But in between I've built some other things. My masons are still at work, so I've think about how it would be, if I donate my house a few small parts. I began with a wooden mortar crate. Later I will need also some trestles and of course tools like a mason trowel, a spirit level and a mason hammer.
In the past I've collected diligent wooden stalks from ice cream - perhaps I had have a premonition.
According to a drawing I've cut the wooden stalks to length...
And it starts with the assembly from single parts, here one side wall.
The rear walls are finished.
The Assembly was really simple; here are the remaining photos.

So much for that, now to my mason trowel. I took a little piece of copper sheet, not more brand new, but this must also not be.
Cut out the typical triangular form - that's why somewhere this tool is also called triangular trowel.
A bit sanding the edges round, now the handle is still missing. This one also bent from copper wire and soldered on the copper sheet.
As handle I've used again a shashlik skewer, drilled, sanded and glued on the wire.
The trowel then again a bit sanded and finished.
Now they could start - the bricklaying, but it has already begun...
Civil figures with a height of 120 mm are difficult to receive, that's why it will be a kind of still life.

You're right - a water bucket is still missing and some other stuff too like a mason hammer...
Okay, I'm thinking about...
