No mate, the HL glue went all over the moulded spigot as well as the small pins. I almost cracked the hull !!

Nope, i won this round.
Tidied up the noodles in the hull, made a gear guard from a chinese takeaway lid, and took stock of the next step. that being sanding the putty off.

What did you do about the tensioners ?

Oh you mean the crap pics ??
Those were done with a lively 3 month old in one arm :/ :/ :haha:
The tensioners are going to be looked at shortly. I want to fit the winter tracks now the H/duty suspension is fitted & see how it feels.
They will get fitted if necessary. If for nothing else than to learn how for the StuG build I have up next.
With the reduced weight and heavy duty springs fitted it may be that the tracks are held in shape with the standard set up on the idler position...........wont know until I try. Could be that I have to take out the upgraded springs & reinstate the standard ones for more subtle action.
Or, ballast the hull inside with what have you to make the suspension work.
Hit the weld lines with the trusty burner & screwdriver, and roughed out the engine cover grill housings.
