Something came in the Post today but I don't know if it was the Tokyo or German sourced sprue. The Post Office didn't deliver since a signature was required and I was out. I can pick them up on Monday. I went out and got some new Model Master OD in a can, another set of different shades of Tamiya's Weathering Master and a new pair of Plastic Snips as well as a new tool for cutting wire and brads, sheet brass, etc. Once errands and the yard work were done today, I felt like a little work was required of me. Don't know how you manage to do it Painless ;) ...I'm still in the problem solving stage.... trying to figure how to stop the light leak from Mato's meager light buckets... as upon investigating them... found the two leads are exposed covered with nothing but paint :O ...I don't want to take a chance with epoxy putty.. like I use on my Heng Longs ..but there is too much chance of current bleed through the putty  ...have to figure that out before making the guards for the lights...I think I have the solution... but it will definitely progress like a science experiment :lolno: ...definitely a "trial and error" kind of deal

Glad to see the "Mood" is on it's way again

Alpha,
Thanks, my friend. Tomorrow should be a slower day and after the Holiday dinner is over, I'll take a little time to paint the lower hull and see what else might be done. Have a great evening and tomorrow!
warm regards,
Painless

Had a quiet morning and afternoon that I spent doing some painting. I don''t want to paint the upper hull until the turret is back on it which requires the parts that I ordered. Getting closer tho' Hopefully another week will see it done. Pictures:

When it rains, it pours. ;o) The last of the parts I was waiting for came in the mail today so everything is here and the finale of this build can come along. To make a little advance after a tough Monday, I took an hour and put together the Tamiya .50 cal for this tank. It will get painted to match the one on 'Maxene' and receive an extra step of detail. Good Morning,

Took some time this evening to put the lower hull back together and get ready to mount the new 2.4GHz set in it. The idlers were primered and painted. The bogies and road wheels received a couple of dusting coats as well to help them blend in with the Model Master shade of OD. They were already much better looking than the set they replaced.
